You are here: Users of Gaia Online can form guilds. Some guilds require a payment while others are completely free. If you want to form a guild, 20000 gold should be spent and additional sub-forums may be purchased too. Guilds are also controlled by the guild crew who have the power to moderate any thread in the guild.
You will probably come across some of these terms in exploring guilds.
Owner: someone who started a Guild or had ownership transferred to them.
Captain: one in charge of a Guild, often the owner.
Vice Captain: one can take over the Guild if something happens to the Captain, such as grizzly bear mishap.
Crew Member: one appointed by the Captain or Vice Captain to help moderate the Guild.
Public Guilds: have forums that can be viewed and gaia gold posted in by anyone.
Private Guilds: have forums that anyone can read but where only members can post.
Hidden Guilds: have forums visible only to members.
